We provide a safe, trusting environment where a student’s holistic growth can impact the community. This program exists to aid in all forms of learning, including homework assistance, enrichment activities, and literacy lessons.
What we do…
Afterschool.
Students ages 5–12 will participate in our afterschool program, which focuses on Bible teaching, literacy development using IXL, and arts and crafts lessons. Students will receive a snack, assistance with homework, and time for physical activity, along with enrichment activities. Our goal is to support students’ spiritual growth, academic progress, and overall well-being in a safe and encouraging environment.
We believe that everyone has something to give! You can get involved by volunteering to serve students, ages 5-12. You can help by tutoring, participating in play, and reading with a student. Many of the kids coming need an advocate and mentor in their lives and you can help make an impact! If you'd like to apply to serve with afterschool, please email visitus@wewillgo.org!
If you have a skill or a talent that could benefit our students, you may want to volunteer to host a ‘Fun Friday’ at We Will Go! We’d love for community members to come and showcase their skills and talents during our afterschool program. If you'd like to apply to serve with Fun Friday, please email visitus@wewillgo.org.
If you would like to sponsor a student and financially support afterschool, you can make a one-time donation or be a monthly sponsor. Your donation helps us meet our yearly fundraising goal. A donation of $50 ensures that each student has qualified educators, equipment, and support in their holistic learning. Be sure to select the donation drop down to Education & Tutoring for monthly giving. Consider what might be a meaningful amount for you to contribute towards Education this semester?
