This verse keeps my heart centered on loving people well, putting others before myself, and living the kind of life God calls me to live- one rooted in compassion, humility, and service.

I am a retired special education teacher that has always called the education world my mission field. Jesus has always been with me through out every adventure I have been through.

The Lord placed a higher calling on my heart to serve in community alongside people who love Him. Through We Will Go, I’m passionate about connecting the Jackson community, helping others serve faithfully, and resting in His truth.

After volunteering with We Will Go and working as a camp counselor for two summers, I felt called to continue serving the kids of Jackson. God has placed a deep love for this community on my heart, and I’m grateful to be part of work that makes a lasting impact.

I was introduced to We Will Go as a neighbor looking for resources. I am glad to use my gifts to serve neighbors that are also looking for assistance.

I rededicated my life to Christ in May of 2024, and since then, I’ve felt a strong calling to share what the Lord has done in my life. I came to We Will Go with a heart to love our neighbors and volunteers and to help make Jackson more Jesus‑focused than worldly‑focused.
Scripture verse: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:8-10

The Lord saved me in June of 2025, transformed my heart, and began aligning my plans for my life with His will. Since being saved, He led me into marriage with my wife and to a job where I can be His hands and feet every day. My favorite experiences working for We Will Go have been praying with neighbors and seeing Jesus work in their lives and in the lives of the volunteers every week.

I originally came to We Will Go because I was looking for a group of people who actually know God and walk in relationship with Him every day. If you are looking for people that really love God, come to We Will Go.

While attending undergrad at Belhaven University, I began to develop a heart for the city of Jackson. When I graduated, I believed in my heart that God has called me to serve this community which opened the door for me to become a Programs Coordinator. As a Programs Coordinator, I am passionate about the organizations mission to be a neighbor to our neighbors who is willing to engage them with the love of Jesus Christ in all of our programs.

I am from Louisiana and I have been in the Jackson area for about a year. I spend all of my free time running my farm Sun and Moon Farm where I raise different animals. My husband and I are joyously expecting our first child.

I was born and raised in Jackson to parents who were also born and raised here, so I love Jackson, pray for the city, its leaders and its people, and do all that I can to support it. I have two adult sons. One is married to a kind and caring Godly woman and has two daughters. Both sons live and work in Jackson.
